These are the monthly prices we typically quote in Arizona at a building that is already lit. They are not a quote for your building. Phoenix and Tucson have genuine competitive pressure and real quotes there land toward the lower end of what these figures suggest. Yuma, Flagstaff and most of the state outside the two metros have considerably less, and the same requirement costs more there. Once a build is involved anywhere in Arizona, the ground under the trench matters more than the bandwidth on the order.

What the monthly broadband price buys

• Download speeds that may be higher than upload speeds

When business fiber broadband is the right answer

Broadband is usually the better buy when a brief slowdown is inconvenient rather than costly, the site mainly uses cloud applications and web traffic, and guaranteed upload capacity is not essential. Paying for an SLA you do not need is not optimization.

Protect it with a second path

For many sites, broadband from two different carriers with automatic failover produces better practical uptime than one expensive circuit. Confirm that the two services do not share the same last-mile route or building entrance before calling them diverse.

What moves the price

• Lit building or new build. The single biggest variable everywhere, and caliche makes the gap wider in Arizona than in most states.
• How many carriers can actually reach you. Two credible options in a building move the price more than any negotiating tactic, and in the East Valley three or four is now realistic.
• Which market. Phoenix and Tucson have real competitive pressure. Yuma and Flagstaff have much less, and outside those four there is often none.
• The season. Heat limits crew hours in Valley summers and winter limits them in Flagstaff, and a carrier absorbing that wait may price for it.
• Contract term. Sixty months beats thirty six meaningfully, and carriers absorb far more construction cost on a longer term.
• Whether you need an SLA. Dropping from dedicated to broadband remains the largest single cost reduction available, where the business can tolerate it.

When to price dedicated internet instead

DIA is a separate committed service. Price it when guaranteed symmetrical capacity, static IPs, an SLA, and a contractual repair target matter to the site.
