Vendor neutral
Why work with us
We are compensated by whatever carrier you choose, which is what makes this a free service for you. Our relationships run nationwide, so the pricing we get matches what the carrier's own sales reps quote, and often beats it.
What you get out of working with us
Three things, and they are the reason this exists.
- Best information. Serviceability confirmed with each carrier for your exact address, not read off a coverage map. Whether the building is already lit, needs a lateral build, or is a real construction project. The regional, municipal and consortium networks a national rep has no reason to mention.
- Best pricing. Nothing is added to the carrier's price for us, partner pricing matches what their own reps quote and often beats it, and we put your one address in front of a long list of carriers so they are competing rather than presenting.
- Simplified process. One form instead of eight sales calls, one person instead of eight reps, one comparison in one format instead of eight quotes that cannot be lined up, and construction cost on its own line rather than buried in the monthly.
The rest of this page is how that works and where the limits are, because a claim with no mechanism behind it is just a slogan.
How we get paid, in plain terms
Every carrier on this site pays a commission to the partner who brings them a customer. That is ordinary in telecom and it is how most agents work. The part worth saying out loud is what it does and does not do to your price.
Nothing is added to your price for us. The commission comes out of the carrier's side, so cutting us out does not free up a discount for you.
On plenty of deals the partner number is the better one. Carriers price aggressively through their channel to win business their own reps would otherwise have to go and chase, and we quote across a long list of them at once rather than one at a time.
If you take what we find and order direct anyway, we are paid nothing. That happens, and it is a fair outcome rather than a loophole.
Where our interest and yours actually line up
Commission rates are not identical across carriers. We would rather tell you that than pretend to a neutrality no agent has.
What keeps it honest is the shape of the payment. It arrives monthly, for as long as the circuit stays up. A circuit sold into the wrong building gets cancelled, and a cancelled circuit pays nothing and costs the carrier relationship we need for the next customer.
So the incentive is not to point you at the carrier paying most. It is to point you at the one that can genuinely serve your address and hold up for three years.
What vendor neutral means here
We do not own a network, so there is nothing of ours to fill.
Access runs through Bridgepointe Technologies, which means one agreement covers a long list of carriers rather than us being a reseller for one of them.
- Regional carriers, municipal networks, rural ILECs and carrier consortiums are listed beside the national names
- Those smaller networks are often the ones already lit in a building, and a national sales team has no reason to mention them
- Every carrier we list for a state is named on that state's page, so you can see the whole field before you talk to anyone
What we actually do
- Confirm serviceability with each carrier for your exact address, rather than reading a coverage map
- Tell you whether the building is already lit, needs a short lateral build, or is a real construction project, because that one fact moves price and timeline more than anything else
- Put any construction cost on its own line instead of amortising it quietly into the monthly
- Read the terms that bite later: contract length, auto renewal, and what it costs to leave early
- Say when the obvious answer is the wrong one, including when the cheapest quote is the wrong one
How we research the pages on this site
Carrier pages combine provider-published footprint and product information with the regional network information we use when checking addresses. A carrier appearing on a state or metro page means it is relevant to that market. It does not mean that carrier serves every building there.
Price ranges are the typical numbers we quote for buildings that are already lit. They are budgeting ranges, not rate cards and not a quote. Installation ranges reflect the work required in each common construction situation.
We do not mark a building available until a carrier checks the exact service address. That direct serviceability response overrides every map, directory and market-level statement on this site.
What we cannot know, and will not pretend to
No public database holds building level fiber serviceability. Not the FCC National Broadband Map, not anything else free. The carriers hold that data and they do not publish it.
So the instant answer on this site is about the market: which carriers operate there, and what that bandwidth typically costs. It is never a claim about your suite.
If another site gives you an instant per-address availability answer, it is showing you a coverage map. Coverage maps are the thing that is wrong.
You can take the research and leave
Some people come here to check that the renewal quote on their desk is reasonable. That is a fine reason to use this, and it does not come with an obligation.
Ask, get the answer, and go direct if that suits you better. We would rather be the site you come back to in three years than the one that squeezed you once.
What we are not
- Not a lead broker. Your details are not sold, shared with a list, or passed to carriers who did not ask about your address
- Not a call centre. Nobody rings you until you say so, and the request form says so on the button
- Not free because something else is being charged for. There is no paid tier and nothing is gated
Who you are dealing with
A Bridgepointe Technologies advisor with more than ten years in telecommunications. The replies come from that person, the calls come from that person, and the quote gets built by that person. There is no queue and no handoff to an account team you have not met.
So, three reasons
- Better information, because we ask the carriers about your address instead of reading a map
- Better pricing, because nothing is added for us and the carriers know they are competing
- A simpler process, because one form and one person replaces eight of each
All of it free to you, and none of it obliges you to buy through us.
Common questions
Does this cost me anything?
No. There is no fee at any point, and no paid tier. The carrier you choose pays us, and only if you buy.
Will I pay more than if I went straight to the carrier?
No. At worst you pay exactly what the carrier's own rep would quote. Often it is less, because carriers discount through their partner channel and we can put the same address in front of several of them at once.
What if I get the research and then want to buy direct?
Then buy direct. We are paid nothing in that case, and it is still a reasonable thing to do. Plenty of people use this to sanity check a renewal quote.
Do you sell my contact details?
No. Your details are used to check your address with carriers and to send you the answer. They do not go on a list and they are not sold.
Which carriers do you actually work with?
Every carrier we can quote in a state is named on that state's page, with what each one is good at and what to watch for. Nothing is hidden behind the form.
Why can you not just show me availability instantly?
Because nobody can. Building level fiber serviceability is not public data. Anyone showing an instant answer is showing a coverage map, which is exactly the thing that gets buildings wrong.
